Diva D, who always fancied herself as coming from Japanese stock (every gene in her body is non-Japanese, btw) has been inspired to cook up a storm in the kitchen this past week while on half-term holidays. This lunchtime it was Japanese curry which was ermm... nice, but I think we best leave the curry recipes to the experts from South Asia.
For tea time, Diva D churned up these Japanese fried buns coated in cornflakes and breadcrumbs. The buns are quite popular in Japan as takeaway or lunch food. The filling was of course, curry leftover from lunch. They were quite yummy, I must admit. These are the pics journaling their creation:
